Which S20 series device?

Samsung has a broad line up of Galaxy S20 phones. Starting off is the S20 FE, then there are the S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra. And then, each of them come in 2 versions – with 5G or without 5G.

Body and build

The build of these phones is all the same, and they are all IP68 dust/water resistant. The only difference is in the size and weight of the devices.

Display

The S20 FE has a lesser screen quality to the other three devices. Aside from the S20 FE, all devices are made with the same Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and have the same always-on display and refresh rate. The resolutions of the screens and quality of the display are essentially the same, but the screen sizes differ.

Platform

All devices in the S20 series have largely the same platform configuration in respect of OS, chipset, CPU and GPU. The only difference relates to the OS, where the S20 FE is upgradable to Android 12 as it was released slightly later than the other models in the series.

Battery

The principal differences in the batteries between devices relate to the battery capacity rating, measured in mAh. Generally, the higher the mAh the longer the battery will keep your phone powered up between plugging in.
